(“Avicanna” or the “Company“) a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development, manufacturing and commercialization of plant-derived cannabinoid-based products is pleased to announce that it has received a research licence (the “Research Licence“) from Health Canada. The Research Licence will allow Avicanna’s research and development team to work with cannabinoid-based formulations and advanced pharmaceutical drug development at Avicanna’s research and development headquarters located at the MaRS Discovery District in Toronto.
